TA Associates has purchased Confluence, a provider of regulatory, investor communications and performance reporting.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The global growth private equity firm said it has completed a majority investment in the Pittsburgh- headquartered business. However, financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.<\/p>\n

Founded in 1991, Confluence is a financial services data management software platform that offers regulatory, investor communications and performance reporting solutions to the global asset management industry.<\/p>\n

The company claims to be the only unified data-driven software platform that enables asset managers and global and regional fund administrators to automate various communications and reporting to shareholders and regulators.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs asset managers adjust to comply with the increasing data aggregation and processing requirements, we see this as an attractive time to enter into a niche market at an early stage,\u201d said Kenneth T. Schiciano, a managing director at TA Associates who will join the Confluence Board of Directors.<\/p>\n

\u201cConfluence has invested a tremendous amount of time and resources to optimise productivity and control, which we expect will lead to organic growth opportunities to further scale the business. Headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the company has additional locations in Brussels, Dublin, London, Ho Chi Minh City, Luxembourg and San Francisco. It serves several of the top global fund administrators and asset managers, and over 90% of the United States mutual fund market.<\/p>\n

Its regulatory reporting solutions claims to provide accuracy and control to meet current regulatory reporting data management and filing demands while enabling its clients to manage the rapid speed of regulatory change.<\/p>\n

As a leading provider of Form PF, Form CPO-PQR, AIFMD Annex IV Reporting and Form N-MFP reporting solutions, Confluence provides a cost-effective response to the complexity of post-trade systemic risk reporting.
