Esa Kalliopuska is the Chief Operating Officer for Distribution in EMEA, working with Invesco’s sales leaders on driving strategic execution, as well as overseeing a range of sales enabling teams. He provides leadership for digital distribution propositions and coverage of the digital client segment in EMEA.
Esa joined Invesco in 2018 as the Head of Strategy & Business Planning for EMEA. He joined from M&G Investments, where he was the Head of Business Strategy covering Distribution, Equities, and Fixed Income business areas. Esa spent the early part of his career in strategy consultancy at Oliver Wyman, managing projects for a variety of European and global investment managers, as well as sovereign wealth funds.
Esa holds a Master of Engineering degree from Imperial College, London, and is a CFA charterholder.

Carolina joined Santander as Head of Technology and Operations for Portugal in November 2020, achieving a major and successful business transformation of the Bank. She was then appointed as Europe CTO in December 2022 and recently as Global Head of Technology and Operations at Santander Wealth Management & Insurance, to drive technology and global platforms strategy to grow the business. Prior to joining Santander, Carolina held different responsibilities leading key business impact technology areas in the telco sector. Carolina holds a Masters in Telecommunication Engineering and has focused her career path towards digital transformation and IT management.

Peter has held senior positions as Chief Data and Technology Officer at Outra, CDAO at Exasol, Group Director Data Sciences at Legal and General and also held the position as CDO of LGIM (L&G Investment Management). Before joining L&G Peter was Chief Data Officer at Southern Water after a period as Head of Data at The Pensions Regulator (TPR). Before joining TPR Peter spent 17 years providing data strategy consultancy across the not-for-profit sector, financial services and FMCG, working with large multi-national organisations and blue chip brands. Peter is a specialist in Data Strategy, Data Technologies, Master Data Management Strategies, Data Governance Frameworks, GDPR and Data Science. Peter is the co-author of ‘The Chief Data Officer’s Playbook’ published by Facet November 2017, ‘Data-Driven Business Transformation’ published in March 2019 by Wiley, the 2nd edition ‘The Chief Data Officers Playbook’ published 2020 and ‘Halo Data’ published in September 2023. Peter was Co-Founder and Partner at Carruthers & Jackson founded in 2018 with his co-author Caroline Carruthers. Peter is an international speaker on Data, Artificial Intelligence, Innovation and business transformation and co-founded the Chief Data Officers’ Summer School which has an international alumni of 1500+.

Rohan is currently the Global Head of Operations at Wise, responsible for a team of 5000+ spread across 20 locations from the US to Singapore. His remit includes financial crime, fraud, KYC, payments, internal controls, third party risk management, customer support, complaints, vendors, QA and other areas. Rohan sits on the Wise leadership team, the audit and risk committee, the Wise UK board of directors, and is accountable for all operations risks, processes, and metrics globally for Wise. Prior to Wise, Rohan spent time at multiple UK banks (NatWest, TSB) and global consultancies (EY), helping solve financial crime problems, build financial crime products, and help regulators and banks set up their financial crime systems and controls.

Jürgen Blumberg is COO EMEA for Goldman Sachs ETF Accelerator. Before his appointment to his current role, he served as Head of ETF Product & Capital Markets EMEA at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Jürgen has an equity trading background followed by 14 years of experience in the ETF industry. Before joining Goldman Sachs, Jürgen was responsible for the ETF Capital Markets Team at Invesco. He started his ETF career at iShares in Munich, focusing on the liquidity of the continental ETF platform. Jürgen has an economics degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich. He was voted “top 40 under 40 asset management” by Financial News in London.

Sonia began her career as a strategy consultant. She has developed three new venture and business unit build outs in large asset management firms with both national and global reach and four start-up ventures across fintech, impact, FMCG and professional services. Sonia is a graduate of Curtin University and the University of Oxford. She holds an MBA from Oxford University. She is a guest lecturer for the Oxford MBA and EMBA Fintech module.
