Dr Gauri Sinha
Gauri works as a Lecturer in Law at Royal Holloway, University of London, leading a module on financial crime. She was awarded a PhD in Law in 2015, specialising in anti-money laundering compliance.
Gauri also consults on financial crime, and her recent project with the Government of Jamaica led to recommendations that were passed by the Jamaican Parliament as amendments to the Law. Gauri was invited by the Law Commission of England and Wales to be part of the consultation process aimed at reforming key aspects of the UK anti-money laundering framework.
Prior to joining Royal Holloway, Gauri was working at Pricewaterhouse Coopers as the Subject Matter Expert in financial crime. She has also worked with the World Bank as a financial crime specialist, to design a security framework for a carbon trading platform. Previously, Gauri has worked at KPMG in their Forensic Investigations business unit.
