Andrew Holdway

Andrew joined Swiss Re’s Solutions team in 2022 to co-lead Strategic Partnerships across the EMEA, with a focus on developing and executing the strategy to build portfolios and ecosystems with tech enabled MGAs, digital platforms and alternative distribution channels. He started his insurance career after spending several years as a civilian contractor with the military, initially joining AXA Gulf leading broker portfolios across P&C and Health, before relocating to Singapore to support AXA’s acquisition and integration of HSBC Insurance in Singapore and Hong Kong, and thereafter leading the broker, bancassurance, partnership and direct distribution channels for AXA Singapore. In 2016, Andrew moved to Madrid to drive partnership development, large client management, SME and the synergies with AXA XL for AXA’s regional office covering Latam, MEA, and selected countries in Europe and Asia. Andrew graduated with a BA (Hons) degree, holds the Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) qualification, and is an active mentor in the CII mentorship program.
