{"id":6549,"date":"2019-04-26T09:55:35","date_gmt":"2019-04-26T09:55:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fintech.global\/digitalinsurtechforum\/?p=6549"},"modified":"2019-04-26T09:55:35","modified_gmt":"2019-04-26T09:55:35","slug":"marketscout-buys-cyber-insurtech-platform-wingman","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/fintech.global\/digitalinsurtechforum\/marketscout-buys-cyber-insurtech-platform-wingman\/","title":{"rendered":"MarketScout buys cyber insurtech platform Wingman"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Electronic insurance exchange and specialty managing general agent MarketScout has bought into cyber insurtech platform Wingman.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The company will add Wingman to its MGA accelerator programme, giving retail agents the option of accessing\u00a0cyber insurance coverage in a 60-second quote to bind electronic format, with the aim of delivering policies within two minutes.<\/p>\n<p>MarketScout made the investment through its MarketScout InsurTech Ventures unit.<\/p>\n<p>Company CEO Richard Kerr said Wingman was \u201cby far the most impressive quote to bind offering we have analyzed\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>He added, \u201cThe Wingman offering provides retail agents the ability to quote, bind, pay, and issue policies in less than three minutes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMany talk about this efficiency but few are able to actually deliver.
