It is unclear whether the firm is looking to close the round, but the form indicates it has a $33m goal for the round.<\/p>\n<p>Corvus is an AI-powered insurance solution which helps commercial insurance brokers and policyholders to better predict and mitigate risk by utilising new forms of data.<\/p>\n<p>Last year,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/member.fintech.global\/2019\/10\/08\/corvus-insurance-to-offer-higher-limits-to-those-with-existing-cyber-protections\/\">the company updated<\/a>\u00a0its cyber underwriting to improve policies for those with security measures in place. Its Smart Cyber Insurance policy protects a business for losses caused from phishing or other deception tactics, with more coverage limits being given to those with security measures in place.<\/p>\n<p>The InsurTech made a big push for expansion last year,<a href=\"https:\/\/member.fintech.global\/2019\/06\/25\/corvus-insurance-opens-its-fourth-us-based-office-of-the-year\/\">\u00a0opening four new US offices.\u00a0<\/a>Corvus now has locations in Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York and Chicago.<\/p>\n<p>Corvus also secured a<a href=\"http:\/\/member.fintech.global\/2018\/11\/28\/corvus-rakes-in-10m-series-a-just-months-after-former-round\/\">\u00a0$10m investment round<\/a>\u00a0last year from backers including .406 Ventures and Hudson Structured.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright \u00a9 2020 FinTech Global<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Corvus Insurance, a platform helping brokers and policyholders better predict and prevent risk, has raised up to $31m in a new funding round.
