András Puskás is CXO at Hungary’s second largest banking group, MBH Bank. He began his career in public service, first as Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Finance, then as Deputy Mayor of District 5 of Budapest, where he was responsible for urban development. Subsequently, he was responsible for operations, finance and risk in the senior management of two Hungarian financial institutions, Exim Bank and Budapest Bank. He participated in the unique merger of 3 Hungarian banks as a CXO and Chief Advisor to the Chairman of the Board. After the merger, he is a Chief Officer at MBH Bank and among other external relation and business tasks, he provides strategic guidance on ESG matters, helping the financial group to align its operations with international sustainability standards and leading efforts to promote green finance and sustainable investing as it moves towards net-zero banking.
