Ella is Managing Director, Group Sustainability at Nomura, a global financial services group with an integrated network spanning over 30 countries and regions. She has over 20 years of financial services experience, with 10 of them in the areas of ESG and sustainable finance.
Prior to her role at Nomura Group, she was MD, Sustainable Finance, at Nomura Wholesale; an independent ESG and sustainable finance consultant; Director, Sustainable finance, Commercial Banking HSBC UK; Head of Strategy, Reputational Risk at HSBC Group. Prior to that, she was an M&A banker at HSBC covering emerging markets. She started her career as a management consultant with Barents Group of KPMG Consulting.
Ella has an MBA from London Business School and MSc in Marketing from Donetsk National University, Ukraine.
