South African Insurer Santam has chosen Guidewire ClaimCenter for its claims management processes.
Santam, which is an existing client of GuideWire, will implement the ClaimCenter solution for both its personal and commercial lines of business, across direct and intermediated distribution channels. Deployment to non-commercial motor businesses is expected to follow this, with a launch in Q1 2020.
In addition to claim management, Santam has chosen the Guidewire DataHub and InfoCenter solutions to bolster its enterprise-wide data management and business intelligence.
By integrating these new services, Santam will be able to increase operational efficiencies by streamlining and modernising various core systems and develop a digitalised claims process. The insurer is also gaining a platform for data and reporting, and sturdy insurance marketplace.

Guidewire offers Property and Casualty insurers with a range of solutions to improve their operations. Its tools range from claims, underwriting, and policy generation, to data analytics, predictive insights and customer engagement, among others.
