Dr. Henrik Naujoks heads Bain & Company’s global insurance activities and is a member of the firm’s global Financial Services practice leadership team. He is also an expert in Bain’s Digital practice.
Dr. Naujoks has more than 25 years of management consulting experience advising financial services companies on corporate and business unit strategy, customer-focused programs and post-merger integration. He has additional expertise in other aspects of corporate organization, operational improvement and restructuring. In recent years, his focus has been on digital transformations in the insurance sector.
He is one of the lead authors of Bain & Company’s annual report on customer loyalty in insurance, now in its fifth year. He has been quoted on this topic as well as digitalization in major global business outlets, including The Economist, Financial Times, Forbes, Bloomberg, and a number of key trade publications.
Outside of his client work, Dr. Naujoks is actively involved in social impact and non-profit initiatives as an advisor and board member for several social and educational organizations. He was recognized as a “Young Global Leader” by the World Economic Forum in 2007.
Dr. Naujoks studied business administration in Munich and earned his doctorate at the University of St. Gallen, where he wrote his thesis on organizational theory and behavior in large organizations. He also received a scholarship from the German National Merit Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes).
