Global reinsurer\u00a0MAPFRE RE<\/a>, known for its robust presence in the insurance and reinsurance industry, has announced the appointment of Alberto Est\u00e9vez Allegue as chief representative officer of its representative office in Tokyo, Japan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The move, which will become effective 1 July 2024, comes as the firm looks to strengthen its position in the APAC market, according to\u00a0FF News<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Est\u00e9vez Allegue is set to leverage his 12 years of experience within the MAPFRE group of companies to his new role. He also has an extensive background in the Asian-Pacific insurance market, making him a valuable addition to the Tokyo office.<\/p>\n

Javier S\u00e1nchez Cea, MAPFRE RE\u2019s Chief Regional Manager for APAC, delved into highlighted Est\u00e9vez Allegue\u2019s importance, remarking, \u201cOur representative office in Japan underscores our dedication to our clients in this crucial market. Alberto\u2019s experience and expertise will further deepen these client relationships.\u201d<\/p>\n

Est\u00e9vez Allegue began his journey in 2012 at MAPFRE Asistencia\u2019s MAPFRE Warranty Japan, where he served as finance and strategic planning manager for the APAC region based in Tokyo.<\/p>\n

His career progressed with roles such as administration and finance regional manager for the MAPFRE Group APAC regional team in China (2014), administration and finance manager of Asia within the MAPFRE Group EURASIA Region (2018), and most recently, projects expert manager at MAPFRE RE\u2019s APAC regional management in Madrid.<\/p>\n

MAPFRE RE, a leading player in the global reinsurance market, is continuing to expand its footprint across crucial regions. The company provides comprehensive reinsurance solutions and is committed to fostering strong client relationships worldwide.<\/p>\n
