Scott Aiello is VP of Commercial Strategy at Simply Business. Scott has been with Simply Business since 2018 and is on the executive leadership team with a focus on executing SB’s strategy and building out a competitive insurance product to compete alongside top small business insurers. Scott has oversight of Harborway Insurance which acts as a Program Administrator with support from MunichRe and Spinnaker Insurance.
Prior to joining Simply Business, Scott was a Vice President and Product Manager at Liberty Mutual overseeing the Industry Practices function with responsibility for setting product and underwriting strategy for targeted industries. Over the course of a 25-year career Scott has broad experience in Underwriting, Strategy, Reinsurance, Product and Financial roles and he thoroughly enjoys leveraging his creative strength to bring new ideas from concept to completion to drive growth.
Scott holds a BBA from Ohio University and an MBA from Villanova University and is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter. In his spare time Scott enjoys sporting clays, skiing, and “starting” home projects.
