Eleanor Gordon

As a senior leader, with significant experience in compliance, risk and treasury, I am focused on ensuring my team have the knowledge, skills and support to ensure they deliver effectively.

Since joining Standard Chartered in 2007, I have worked as a Chief Operating Officer and Head of Change in a range of areas, including Compliance, Risk and the front office. I have also led a global Recovery and Resolution team, ensuring we embedded recovery and resolution throughout the organisation. I have had significant exposure to Stress testing coordinating the Standard Chartered global stress tests. I now oversee the Financial Crime Surveillance units globally and key operations teams supporting various aspects of the Compliance, Financial Crime and Conduct function.

Prior to Standard Chartered, I worked at Barclays Bank in a range of roles with a focus on Strategy Implementation and Change. I also had nearly 10 years experience working in product management in IT and Telecoms.
