Biography

Richard Hyde is Professor of Law, Regulation and Governance in the School of Law at the University of Nottingham. He works closely with colleagues in the University’s Smart Products Beacon, and is currently involved in projects that use a variety of technologies to improve regulatory compliance. He is interested in the intersection of regulation and technology, and particularly how regulators can use technology in carrying out their regulatory functions and encourage the use of such technologies by market participants.
