I work on the intersection of regulation, innovation and technology to create new opportunities for Citi. I am deeply passionate about accelerating FinTech and RegTech within large banks and shaping a regulatory environment that is forward looking and innovation friendly. I work closely with founders, accelerators, our own venture capital business and am in regular dialogue with central banks, policymakers and regulators.
I enjoy public speaking, frequently present on blockchain, innovation, RegTech and regulatory change. I advise FinTech start ups as part via various accelerator programs.
In my spare time I pursue one of my other passions: democratising the fashion industry through tech. It is in industry lacking in diversity and ripe for disruption. I have a keen interest in the potential of augmented reality (AR) and how financial services tech can unlock potential in other industries.
I speak 5 languages and have completed an international education in Law (LLB) and German Law along with Master’s degree in business.
I have worked in 3 countries, for 2 regulators (the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority and the Commission Bancaire in Paris), a range of global banks, a magic circle law firm (Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Germany) and for a major chemical company (Dow Chemical). I also have experience in managing people.
