Chinmay Naralkar is a banking professional with extensive experience in risk management and wholesale banking working in India and the United Kingdom. He has previously worked at ICICI Bank India, where he has managed teams responsible for conceptualisation and implementation of enterprise risk management, stress testing, capital management frameworks and the development of expected credit loss models. During his career, he has also been responsible for credit underwriting and business development in corporate banking. At GuarantCo, Chinmay’s functional responsibilities cover risk, compliance, legal and impact. He is responsible for developing risk strategies contributing to the strategic direction of the business and enabling transactions which balance risk, return and impact objectives. He works closely with colleagues in the Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), of which GuarantCo is part, to drive initiatives towards achievement of the PIDG 2030 strategy. Chinmay has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Mumbai University and an MBA from NMIMS University, Mumbai. He obtained the CFA charter holder from the CFA Institute and a certification in Financial Risk Manager from Global Association of Risk Professionals.
