James Lowry – Janus Henderson Investors

James R. (JR) Lowry is Global Chief Operating Officer at Janus Henderson Investors. He oversees operations, technology, data, business change, operational transformation, facilities and Luxembourg ManCo operations. Prior to joining JHI in 2021, he held numerous roles with State Street, Fidelity Investments, and McKinsey & Company. JR began his career as an officer in the United States Air Force. He received a bachelor of science degree in engineering from Duke University, a master of science in electrical engineering from Northeastern University, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He serves on the advisory board of Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art and is a regular fund-raiser for cancer research.
