Mikko Hietanen oversees all revenue-related activities across the global client base of DreamQuark. As CRO, Mikko focuses primarily on driving new revenue opportunities, implementing strategic initiatives and ensuring customer success. He directly manages the global Sales, Alliances, Customer Success, Marketing, Business development and Customer Success organisations.
Prior to joining DreamQuark, from 2018 to 2019, Mikko worked as the Chairman of Io-Tahoe, an innovative machine learning data discovery company based in London and New York.
Mikko has a long career in IT sales. From 2014 to 2017, he worked as the Business Development Director at BAE Systems Applied Intelligence. In this role, Mikko was driving the engagement with Applied Intelligence’s commercial and government customers as well as partners globally around the topics of Cyber Defence, Financial Fraud and Digital Transformation.
From 2010 – 2014 he worked at Nokia Networks holding the positions of Global Head of OSS Sales and Head of Sales for Core networks and software for Europe and Latin America. He joined Nokia in 2010 from SAP where he had been the Head of Sales for SAP’s Consumer and Pharmaceutical Industries in EMEA.
Prior to this, Mikko had worked as the CEO of Agillic, a leading Software-as-a-Service vendor for Customer Analytics and Interactive Marketing. Between 1999 and 2006 Mikko worked at Siebel Systems and Oracle Corporation, lastly as VP EMEA for Siebel Communications, Media and Energy. Mikko started his career at Accenture in his native Finland, where he worked as a management consultant and project manager in telecoms industry projects in Finland and in Italy.
Mikko is based in London but splits his time between Paris, London and various airports around the globe.
