Slava is a senior financial services executive with track record of leveraging transformation management, control, and governance into operational strength.
Currently Slava leads Strategic Partnerships group within SI&WM and responsible for the partner strategy in support of growth aspirations of the business. In this role he is responsible for identifying new revenue opportunities, sourcing and development of partnerships, joint-ventures, and co-development opportunities based on understanding the market conditions, current business priorities and risk appetite.
Slava serves as a focal point for interactions with Barclays Ventures and Group Innovation and provides expertise to cross-functional deal teams, where he brings deep understanding of the business and various capabilities required to deliver desired outcome.
Prior to joining Barclays Slava held a COO roles at Deutsche Asset and Wealth Management, where he led execution of the business strategy delivering $159mm NIBBT improvement. Slava was responsible for ensuring that all business operating areas ran effectively within set cost and service targets, and established management and control systems to continuously squeeze out inefficiencies.
Slava joined Barclays US as a CIO of Wealth Management business in 2012. During his time in US, he provided vision and leadership for technology and operations teams, including oversight of key strategic service relationships (BONY, State Street, and Broadridge). During his US tenure, he was responsible for developing and executing business re-platform strategy and the sales of the US business (2015).
Since joining Barclays UK as a COO of Barclays Investment Solution, Slava has supported organization restructuring and simplification of the investment business while leading delivery of the Regulatory Change agenda including MIFID and Structural Reform.
