Billy Obregon is a Managing Director and Head of Latin America at Deutsche Bank Wealth Management based in New York. Mr. Obregon is responsible for providing investment opportunities and solutions to family offices and ultra- high-net-worth clients across the Latin America region with offices in New York, Miami, Geneva, and Hamburg. Mr. Obregon oversees banking matters including wealth planning, investment strategy, asset allocation, financing, and asset/liability management.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Obregon was the head of Investment Sales for Deutsche Bank Wealth Management Americas. Before moving to Wealth Management, Mr. Obregon was responsible for business development and distribution of alternative investment opportunities across the Latin America institutional market at DWS Americas. Prior to relocating to New York in 2014, Mr. Obregon managed the business development, structuring, origination and due diligence of private market transactions for the EMEA and Asia Pacific region within the Asset Management division of Deutsche Bank.
Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 2003, Mr. Obregon worked as an analyst in the corporate finance group of Marsh & McLennan Companies.
Mr. Obregon holds a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Finance from Brooklyn College of the City University of New York and an MBA in Strategy and International Business from The Lubin School of Business of Pace University.
