Paul Miles, CFA is a Director in Schwab’s Wealth & Asset Management Engineering (WAME) organization, which supports Schwab Asset Management, Schwab Wealth Advisory, and the Schwab Center for Financial Research. In his current role in the WAME senior leadership team, Paul is responsible for platform strategy across the Wealth and Asset Management businesses, as well as the organization’s business analysis function. Since joining Schwab in 2018, Paul has played a lead role in various front office related projects, new product launches, and strategic acquisitions.
Prior to this role, he spent 2 years at Janus Henderson Investors on the Trading and Compliance Technology team, working on the strategy and delivery of Front Office related technology initiatives. Before that, he spent 12 years at Moore Capital Management, a global macro hedge fund, in a variety of technology roles focused on order management, derivatives pricing, risk, and trade execution across all asset classes. Earlier in his career, he had technology related consultancy roles at HSBC and Deutsche Bank.
Paul is originally from London. He lives in New Jersey with his wife, 5 year old twins, and two dogs.
