Gallagher Re<\/a>, a prominent entity in the reinsurance sector, has announced a leadership reshuffle, as the firm looks to continue to build its pool of talent.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The London-based firm has revealed\u00a0the appointment of Richard Sammons as the new Head of Aerospace for its UK business, effective January 2024. As part of the move, Mark Hudson is also set to transition to the role of Chairman of Aerospace within Gallagher Re, acc<\/p>\n

Sammons holds an extensive 25-year background in broking and underwriting, and is set to arrive from his previous tenure as the Head of Specialty at Hamilton Re in Bermuda, where he served for a decade.<\/p>\n

He will leverage his wealth of industry experience to lead the aerospace division within Gallagher Re\u2019s UK operations. Concurrently, Mark Hudson, the former Head of Aerospace, will transition seamlessly into the position of Chairman of Aerospace. This elevated role will entail supporting Sammons in team management, fostering growth, and fortifying client relationships.<\/p>\n

Sammons\u2019 addition brings a wealth of leadership skills and an in-depth comprehension of the aerospace industry, facilitating the further enhancement of Gallagher Re\u2019s existing success. Meanwhile, Hudson\u2019s move to the Chairman position underscores Gallagher Re\u2019s commitment to strategic leadership and continued development within the aerospace segment.<\/p>\n
