Jungle Ventures invests in early stage technology-based companies based within Asia.
The firm has made several investments into FinTech to-date, all into companies in a relatively early stage of development. The largest investment round they have participated in so far came in September 2015, when they were a co-investor in P2P Payments company Abra’s Series A round alongside Arbor Ventures, Blockchain Capital, and others.
They claim to be reinventing how venture capital is done in Asia by working with their companies on marketing, design, product management, engineering, and recruiting. Jungle Ventures aims to solve regional and global problems by providing high potential startups with the resources they need in order to grow.
In 2016, the firm announced the close of their second fund totaling $100m, ten-times the value of their maiden fund four years prior. With this announcement, Jungle Ventures has participated in a few recent funding rounds, most recently being a lead investor in personal credit issuer and India-based PaySense’s $5.3m Series A round.
