Aiming to let anyone make or accept online payments, Plasso has raised $1.2m in a seed round from AngelList.
The California-based startup’s technology is designed?to help small businesses accept recurring and one-time payments, as well as pre-orders and invoices.
Plasso allows users to implement its service without any coding.
The company says it waited until it was generating $20,000 a month in revenue and double digital growth before it began raising the round.
Plasso will use the capital to hire more staff to drive growth and release new features.
