Tomorrow has bagged $2.6m in seed funding, alongside the launch of its mobile app, which helps families with their financial and legal decisions.
Investors included Maveron, CFSI, Echelon Capital, Clocktower Technology Ventures, Allianz Life, Plug and Play, Flying Fish Partners, Curious Capital, and angel investors.
The platform lets users create a free will and trust within minute, as well as buying or extending life insurance policies.
Tomorrow gets users to identify family members who depend on them and whom they can depend on. The app allows users to list major assets, personal belongings and major debts to organise a will or trust, and they can also take pictures of belongings and assign it to someone to receive, after they pass away.
Tomorrow CEO and co-founder Dave Hanley said, ?Our mission is to knock down the barriers that stop most American families from getting the kind of legal and financial protection they need and deserve.
?The Tomorrow app simplifies historically difficult tasks like starting a trust fund, creating a will, and buying life insurance and makes them accessible to everyday people, not just the wealthy. Now, families can finally take this off their perpetual to do list in a way that is aspirational, social, and even enjoyable, right from their phones.p>
