India-based online payment platform Simpl has raised its latest funding round, in an undisclosed amount.
The investment saw a commitment from Green Visor Capital. According to an article by VCCircle contributions also came from IA Venture Strategies Fund II, Boillot Family Trust, Russell M Byrne, Oliver R. Grace, Jr. Millennium Trust, SF Capital Investments and DIA Investments.
Simpl allows a user to make purchases online, from designated retailers, on a pay later scheme. The platform keeps track of all the transactions, which are then paid on the 1st and 16th of every month.
The user is able to set a spending limit for each month, get instant refunds from retailers and remove the need of putting banking details on websites.
