PayTabs has reportedly bagged $20m in its latest funding round to support its expansion.

The company is looking to increase operations to over 20 markets around the world in the next two years, according to a report by Gulf Business.

Funds will also be used to help product development in digital payments, as well as helping to boost its portfolio, it said.

Founded in 2014, PayTabs is a payment processor and fraud prevention provider, which offers buyers access to online payments, online invoicing, adaptive payments and recurring payments. The platform accepts 168 currencies and has over 130 payment options through its single API.

Backers to the funding round were not disclosed.
