China-based hospitality crowdfunding platform Kaistart has reportedly bagged a $29m in Series C led by Yunfeng Capital.
Certain Capital also took part in the funding round, according to an article by China Money Network. Following the latest investment, the company value is around $200m, the report states.
Launched in 2015, Kaistart is a crowdfunding platform for the hospitality sector in China, helping businesses get funding for their establishments but also giving brand marketing, industry training and community operations support.
The article also states the company Series B picked up $14m in 2016 and was led by Beijing Kunlun Tech, while its Series A bagged $5m from Meridian Capital and Tipping Point Capital in 2015.
