Personal finance platform Balance has raised just over $1m in its latest crowdfunding round on Wefunder.
The raise saw up to 1666 investors take part, with the round coming only three months after a previous campaign, which raised $60,000.
Blockchain-based Balance is a personal finance platform which currently has a wallet aggregation app to help a user sync all bank accounts, credit cards, investment accounts, online wallets, and payment accounts, among others. The platform is integrated with over 9000 companies including Plaid, Melonport, Poloniex, Monzo, Stripe and Coinbase, among others.
The company is close to the launch of its digital currency exchange offering and has partnerships established to help support it.
This new equity will help Balance to grow the company team and also increase the shipment and development of software.
Investments into blockchain and cryptocurrency companies hit a new record in Q2 2017, with total funding reaching $308m, which was across only 24 deals.
