Ansarada collects $18m, to support US, EMEA expansion

Ansarada, an AI-powered platform for global business readiness, has collected $18m in its Series A round.

The investment was led by Ellerston Capital, while Tempus Partners, Belay Capital and Australian Ethical Investments also contributed. All advisory fees from the deal will donated to charity projects in Uganda and Nepal via Adara Partners.

Australia-based Ansarada helps companies and their advisors with important business events such as mergers and acquisitions, fundraising, tenders and IPOs.

Some of the company’s clients include Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, JP Morgan, Google, Deloitte and KPMG, among others. AI technology helps clients unify critical information to create a complete overview of the business performance.

Through machine learning technology, the platform identifies risks and opportunities to build insights for over 20,000 business-critical events. Financial services and insurance firms can use the technology to low risk, ensure compliance and boost collaborations.

Capital from the round will be used to support the expansion in the US and EMEA. The company will also use the proceeds to meet the growing demand for its Material Information Platform, which helps businesses to improve operations and low risks.

Ellerston Ventures investment director David Leslie said, “Ansarada has grown fast to become the go-to platform for companies in executing their most important transactions, like mergers and acquisitions. Ansarada’s new innovations and products build on their impressive experience to deliver value to any company in the world. Ellerston’s investment will help Ansarada capitalize on the global demand for their solution, and accelerate the company’s pace of product innovation.”

This funding round is using a new model that donates advisory fees to support those in extreme poverty. Through the partnership with Adara Partners has hundreds of thousands of dollars will be deployed to communities in Nepal and Uganda supporting health, education and other services.
