Global payments solution provider TSYS has purchased iMobile3, a provider of private-labelled, small business solutions within the payments industry.
The company didn’t reveal any financial details of the deal. Located in Jacksonville, Florida, iMobile3 offers customisable payment solutions including mobile and tablet point-of-sale products, integrated with value added services.
Its POS offering includes inventory management, staff administration, transaction reporting, integrated payments, and is hardware agnostic, among other things.
iMobile3 also provides the iMobile3 Marketplace, a fully customisable suite of applications curated specifically for every partner according to its website. All partners and merchants have the ability to offer and utilise the value-added, revenue driving solutions they want, such as digital marketing and business analytics.
“As the industry continues to evolve, TSYS intends to lead the charge in providing businesses with the best possible tools to compete in today’s hyper-competitive landscape,” said Philip McHugh, senior executive vice president and president, merchant solutions, TSYS. “The acquisition of iMobile3 continues to propel TSYS forward to reach our goal of becoming the number one payments solutions provider to small and medium size businesses in the U.S.”
