Singapore-headquartered e-commerce technology developer Anchanto has raised $4m in its ongoing Series C round.
The lead investment came from MDI Ventures, the venture capital arm of Telkom Indonesia, and marks the third customer of Anchanto to invest into it.
This capital deployment comes just a year after Anchanto raised its Series B from Transcosmos Inc and Luxasia Group.
Anchanto is a SaaS technology developer that connects e-commerce sellers, brands, retailers and warehousing and fulfilment service providers to more than 70 e-commerce sales channels. The platform enables businesses to manage their e-commerce business operations such as warehousing, catalogues, pricing, multi-channel selling, logistics, and local and cross-border shipping.
Billing tools are also provided by the company, which helps sellers to capture all transactions and export relevant information to the various billing systems. Supporting this is Anchanto’s audit trail solution, which helps with order processing, and inventory management and handling.
During the last year, the company has helped process over 12 million orders, which total more than $258 GMv.
Funds from this round will be used to expand Anchanto’s market reach and strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia.
Anchanto CEO and Founder Vaibhav Dabhade said, “Through this collaboration, we aim to enable thousands of Indonesian SMEs, Micro-SMEs, and Enterprise businesses to join the eCommerce bandwagon, and seamlessly onboard them on Telkom Indonesia’s DELON, for eCommerce fulfillment/warehousing and other digital services.
“Essentially, we are going to empower Indonesian entrepreneurs to scale their businesses in Southeast Asia’s biggest eCommerce market.”
Through the partnership, Telkom Indonesia will be able to expand with a new way to empower Indonesian SMEs.
Natal Iman Ginting, managing director of Metra Logistics, Telkom Indonesia’s Logistics Business Division said, “Telkom Group will be using Anchanto’s technology to provide integration of O2O solutions and e-logistics capabilities including cross border shipments, multi-location warehousing, hyper localization that enable companies to global market selling via SelluSeller and Ewms.”
