FinTech app Revolut has unveiled a new tool for its business customers to empower them to take control of their staff’s expenses.
The new expense management feature is an add-on to the banking company’s business offerings, having already given corporate clients easy access to physical and digital credit cards for employees.
With the new tool, employers can keep track of their workers’ expenses and chose to accept or reject expenses in real-time. For staff members, they can simply snap a picture of their receipts, add a little explanation and it is automatically logged by the app.
Moreover, the tool is also compatible with accounting software company Xero’s software, with all the receipts being posted to the platform.
Revolut became a UK unicorn in 2018 after securing a $250m Series C funding round. Since then the company has released a smattering of new functions. For instance, it recently unveiled the ability for European and UK Revolut Metal customers to trade on the New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ.
