Fund That Flip secures $11m in new investment from Edison Partners

New York-based Fund That Flip is a marketplace lender for residential real estate loans. It has announced a deal that will see equity firm Edison Partners invest $11m into the company.

The FinTech startup will use the money to expand its market share by scaling the distribution surrounding its core products. Additionally, the PropTech company has the ambition to create new residential loan products.

Fund That Flip was launched in 2014. It raised a seed round in 2016 led by Fintech Venture Fund, an early-stage investor.

Matt Rodak is the CEO and founder of Fund That Flip. Speaking of the new $11m investment, he touted Edison Partners’s track record of investing in market leaders, adding that he and his team felt “incredibly excited and honoured to have them as a partner as we expand our product offerings, technology and services.”

Rodak added, “Our mission is to enable our clients to create wealth and improve communities by investing in real estate. This additional capital is going to further advance the mission to more clients and communities across the country.”
