Online banking payments platform Trustly has partnered with business-to-business e-commerce platform Alibaba.
As part of the deal, Trustly’s payment service will be available for Alibaba.com and will offer an additional payment method for European users of the e-commerce website.
Initially, the service will be made available across 16 European markets.
Trustly is a cross-border payment service which powers direct money transfers from bank accounts across 29 countries in Europe. Merchants benefit from receiving real-time confirmation when the payment is completed and Trustly’s unique refund functionality helps reduce costs and administration complexity with returns.
