Farm Bureau Insurance to leverage Supportomate’s chatbot after investment

Farm Bureau Insurance of Michigan to pilot Supportomate’s chatbot after making an investment into the Israel-based startup.

As part of the deal Farm Bureau will pilot the copmany’s chatbot within a select number of agencies. The service is designed to offer human-like conversations capable of completing insurance transactions, including sales, bill-pay, claims processing, underwriting, and credentialing.

Supportomate was recently graduated from the PROTO InsurTech accelerator which is supported by arm Bureau, Delta Dental and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).

The InsurTech leverages both natural language and human conversation to establish a chatbot for tor the insurance space. Its automated technology can be deployed by insurers operating within travel, health, home and property, and vehicle.

Farm Bureau Insurance CEO Don Simon said, “Farm Bureau Insurance is pleased to work with Supportomate, a PROTO company specializing in technology that will allow us to further enhance service to our agents and insured.”
