With $42m extra in the bank, Beyond Pricing is set to scale its automated pricing offering for Airbnb and other vacation rental sites.
The money is part of the Proptech startup’s new Series A funding round. Bessemer Venture Partners, the venture capital firm which raised a $1.85bn fund in Octobe 2018, led the round, according to Crunchbase.
Beyond Pricing was launched in 2014. It has developed automated and data-driven software that to enable host at the short-term rental market to get the most out of renting out their places. It states that it aims tot maximize both revenue and occupancy for people using platforms like Airbnb.
The software analyse data on daily basis on individual markets and look at the day of the week, the season and local events to ensure the price is right for the demand. The solution is available for thousands of hosts around the world.
