Charities have just received another way to raise money as GoFundMe rolls out its latest feature.
GoFundMe Charity is, much like the name suggests, a free-to-use fundraising platform for non-profits, TechCrunch reveals. The FinTech company also unveiled a new fundraising button that can be integrated into any site, enabling more flexibility to raise money.
Both services are expected to roll out in November.
FinTech Global has previously reported on GoFundMe’s 2018 acquisition of YouCaring, a personal fundraising company. The companies did not reveal how much money was involved in the deal.
GoFundMe passed the milestone of having seen $3bn raised through the platform in 2016.
