Canadian FinTech startup Brim Financial has expanded its offering with the launch of Brim eShop.
The new initiative will give the credit card issuer and FinTech company’s members the ability to earn points when shopping online with a wide range of merchants – including global giants like Nike, Lululemon, Microsoft, Indigo, Stubhub and AliExpress.
“Our members are at the core of our business and we strive to deliver value and an experience that far exceeds anything available on the market today,” said Rasha Katabi, CEO and founder of Brim Financial. “We believe in rewarding our members for every single activity performed, because, after all, consumers drive our economy.”
Founded in 2015, Brim Financial is another sign the Canadian FinTech scene has grown tremendously over the past few years.
The Great White’s industry has saw $291.1m of investment flow into it in 2014, according to FinTech Global’s data. That number had jumped to $1.14bn in 2018 and $1bn have already been invested into the country’s FinTech industry.
