Retirement software developer Ascensus has acquired employee benefits consulting firm Nyhart for an undisclosed amount.
Nyhart serves over 2,400 clients in all 50 US states, supplying them with consulting on cash balance actuarial, compensation, financial wellness, pensions and healthcare actuarial, and pension administration. Furthermore, the company supplies a health and financial wellness platform to help employers and employees them develop a plan for reaching their financial goals.
Following the close of the deal, Nyhart will immediately join the Assensus FuturePlan line of business.
Ascensus’s FuturePlan is a retirement third-party administrator which helps to customize a plan for each business and keep up with developments in laws, regulations and business growth.

Earlier in the year, Ascensus acquired recordkeeping, third-party administration and benefit plan company Beneco.
