Online currency exchange b-sharpe is enhancing the identity verification process of new customers through new partnership with Onfido.
The deal sees b-sharpe incorporate Onfido’s AI-powered verification technology to enable customers a sign up and identity authentication process that takes ten minutes.
To open an account, a consumer simply takes a selfie and a photo of their identity document. Onfido then checks the ID to check it is genuine and then it matches it with the user’s dace.
Switzerland-based b-sharpe is a digital exchange platform offering access to 20 currencies.
b-sharpe CEO and founder Jean-Marc Sabet said, “We decided to go with Onfido as we needed a powerful ID validation solution to reinforce our mobile-first strategy and customer-centric digital service platform.
“Onfido’s AI-powered service not only speeds up our customer onboarding but provides a seamless branded experience for our customers that results in increased conversion rates for our business.”
Earlier in the year, payments and ID platform Nuggets signed a deal with Onfido. The agreement enables Nuggets to use Onfido’s technology to improve the KYC process on its platform.
