Visa signs on four new partners to help FinTech companies issue plastic and digital cards

Episode Six, Euronet Worldwide, Global Processing Service (GPS) and M2P Solutions (YAP) have been handpicked by Visa to help create new opportunities for Asian FinTech companies.

The four businesses have been selected as new partners to the Visa Fintech Fast Track programme. As such, they will collaborate to develop new ways for payment companies to hit the market faster.

It is easy to see why, when looking closer a the four companies.

Episode Six provides a FinTech platform designed to be a future-proofed solution offering customisation and on-demand product management capabilities.

Euronet Worldwide has created a digital integrated payments cloud aimed at providing technical operations support for FinTech businesses.

GPS is a digital banking company. The PayTech company has previously supported heavy hitters like Revolut, the UK challenger bank that recently rolled out its operations in Singapore.

YAP is the first innovative platform that offers a suite of Visa products through a bundle of Rest APIs.

The new partnerships will empower entrepreneurs across 12 Asia-Pacific market to collaborate with a single partner to develop new payment solutions. Those markets are Vietnam, Thailand, South Korea, Singapore, the Philippines, New Zealand, Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, India, Hong Kong and Australia.

Episode Six, Euronet Worldwide, GPS and YAP are certified in four different Visa digital capabilities. Those are to issue a Visa credential into a mobile wallet that gives users the ability to use a digital card on their phones, to enable smooth and secure transactions across mobile and e-commerce environments, supporting frequent travellers by giving them multi-currency capabilities, and to push payments to other financial accounts.

“These new partners will provide FinTechs with a faster, easier way to access Visa’s global network and get new payment solutions into their customer’s hands, whether on a physical card or in a digital wallet,” said Chris Clark, regional president Asia Pacific at Visa. “Through working with Visa’s issuer processor partners, FinTechs can extend their reach into new markets or customer segments.”
