Beeks Financial Cloud receives £2m grant from Scottish Enterprise

Beeks Financial Cloud Group, a cloud computing and connectivity provider for banks, has received a £2m R&D grant from Scottish Enterprise.

The new funds will be used to support the growth and expansion in its Glasgow headquarters as well as help it broaden in its product suite. This grant will be paid over the course of three years.

Beeks Financial Cloud CEO Gordon McArthur said, “The project will further strengthen our position as a leading provider of cloud computing services to financial markets, increasing the differentiation of our offering and helping to accelerate our future growth.”

The FinTech platform supports clients within the forex, futures, equities, fixed income and cryptocurrency asset classes with their operations. Its automation technology and cloud computing infrastructure help users to optimise trading.

Scottish Enterprise Managing Director Linda Hanna said, “We’re delighted to support Beeks’ ambitious expansion plans. The Company has recognised the opportunities presented by the technological revolution, building an innovative, Scotland-based business whose ingenuity is recognised internationally.”
