Irish RegTech platform Know your Customer has reportedly received a new investment from Hong Kong-based fundraising platform AngelHub.
Singapore-based robotics startup Botsync also secured funding from AngelHub, according to a report from FinTech Futures. It is not clear how much each startup raised; however, AngelHub deployed a combined total of $2.5m into them.
Know Your Customer told FinTech Futures that after expanding into ten countries, funding was the natural progression to support further growth.
The RegTech company offers a range of KYC, AML and ID verification services for individuals and corporate clients.
AngelHub is a crowdfunding platform for professional investors. A company wishing to raise funds creates a campaign with a pitch, if they are successful, AngelHub will list the fundraise on their platform which is open to investors from around the world.
Last year, Know Your Customer partnered with prepaid card issuing company Axiom. Through the deal, Know Your Customer provided the prepaid card company with an automated KYC and AML solution to accelerate the verification of customers.
