South Korean digital bank Kakao Bank has unveiled a new stock trading feature for its customers on its mobile app.
The new service is launched in a partnership with brokerage firm NH Investment & Securities, The Korea Herald reported.
Kakao Bank’s users can open a securities account on the mobile platform thanks to them already having registered their personal data.
“Utilising brokerage services offered by two of the nation’s leading stock trading firms is now available on Kakao Bank’s platform,” an official from Kakao Bank told The Korea Herald. “The company will expand partnerships with more brokerage houses to cater to the needs of customers.”
