Having already announced a partnership with Alipay this month, money transfer company WorldRermit is now teaming up with another company.
WorldRemit has announced that it has partnered with Paykii to launch an international bill payments service using WorldRemit’s app.
The collaboration is aimed to empower customers to directly pay bills in over 40 countries, according to CrowdFund Insider. Those countries include the UK, US, Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
“This new service allowing our users to pay bills directly from abroad will make life easier for our customers, particularly in the current climate, by providing a convenient, end-to-end digital service,” said Cath Rooney, head of product at WorldRemit.
Fabian Saide, co-founder and CEO of Paykii, added, “Now WorldRemit customers have another great service to better manage their global financial health by directly paying bills for their loved ones or themselves back home. WorldRemit and Paykii have worked closely to build a global bill payment experience that delivers ‘Peace of Mind’ by ensuring the timely payment of those essential family expenses.”
WorldRemit has previously announced a partnership with Alipay, the Alibaba-owned FinTech company, to give Chinese customers new ways of sending and receiving money.
