Lendahand, which is a crowdfunding platform for impact investing, has hit the target ?1m of its own crowdfunding campaign.
The Netherlands-based company has raised the money on Seedrs at a pre-money valuation of ?17.5m.
There have been around 434 individual investors to contribute to the round a total of 5.41% of Lendahand equity has been distributed among the investors.
Lendahand enables investors to support individuals and businesses in emerging markets to earn up to 7% of interest annually. The crowdfunding company has helped more than ?78m be invested across 2,700 projects.
The company charges businesses a ?success feeonce they have completed their crowdfund. These fees are based on the risk level and maturity of the project, with the higher the risk and longer maturity of the loan, the greater the fee.
Earlier in the month, Clim8 Invest, which enables consumers to back companies having a positive impact on climate change, stormed past its initial crowdfunding target to raise ?1.35m. The company final close? was 300% greater than its initial target and was backed by 1,200 people.
