Revolut has added American Express to its open banking feature, which means UK retail customers can connect their American Express and other banks accounts to the neobank.
This, Revolut said, will enable them to see all of their balances and transactions in one single app. For American Express uses, this means that they won’t just be able to check their balance on the American Express app or website, but that they can see it and all their other accounts in one place.
Retail customers will also be able to set budgeting controls for their Revolut account and have a full picture of their spending on their non-Revolut account, giving them greater control over their entire financial lives. Revolut is working on rolling our Amex support to other countries and adding even more banks and credit cards in the near future.
