CyberTech100 company Mitiga said to raise $7m in its seed round

Cloud incident readiness and response software solution Mitiga has reportedly bagged $7m in its seed round.

The investment was supplied by Clearsky Security, Glilot Capital, Flint Capital, Rain Capital and DNX Ventures,  according to a report from Tech EU.

Israel-based Mitiga is a hybrid managed services solution for cloud environments. Its technology is used across banking, e-commerce, education, government and pharmaceuticals sectors.

Its technology can monitor all areas of a business including email, endpoints, network, cloud, system processes, databases and websites for threats. Clients are provided with a simplified dashboard so they can keep track of their incidents and responses.

Clearsky Security recently contributed to the funding round of White Ops, a developer of bot mitigation and fraud protection technology. The company verifies the humanity of over five trillion interactions each week to uncover illicit activity online.

Israel has established a strong cybersecurity sector, however, despite regulations, only two-thirds of serious hack attacks were reported to the authorities. In May 2018, a regulation was implemented that forced businesses and non-profits to report all attacks.
