Pollinate teams up with Mastercard to enhance its software capabilities

Pollinate, a software developer helping digitise merchant acquiring for banks, has partnered with Mastercard to improve data insights for banks serving SMEs around the world.

The companies both realised the importance of SMEs to communities and economics across the globe. It claims SME accounting representing 90% of business and 50% of employment around the world.

Pollinate develops a cloud-based data and digital experience layer that can integrate with a bank existing infrastructure. Though the solution, banks can enter acquiring or transform their existing business without the need of changing the existing infrastructure.

The company also supports digital onboarding and a portal that acts as a central hub for the business. Tools in the portal include sales and settlement information, digital loyalty programs and accounting services.

Mastercard will add some of its products to the portal to enhance the offering.
